As we mentioned last month this neighborhood isn't slowing down. Not even the start of the holiday season is keeping buyers from snatching up condos in the West Loop. This busy season might have contributed to fewer listings coming to the market in the past month, but with homes still selling in a month or less sellers have a good reason to list sooner, rather than waiting for spring. The median sales price for condos was $400,000.

Housing Type: Townhome

After 99 days on the market, one of the townhome listings was cancelled. The average market time for townhomes that are under contract is 110 days. This makes us wonder if those sellers cancelled their listing a little early. The listing sheet says they plan to relist in the spring. In 99 days on the market they never lowered their price. It makes one wonder how much they will be asking when they do relist.

One of the single family listings was cancelled after 139 days. They had one price change during the time it was listed. Maybe this one will also be relisted in the spring.
